All membership terms last two years, and members may serve up to two terms but must nominate themselves and be elected for each term. Overall, SAC representation, the number of seats available for each school, division, or organization, is determined by the number of employees in that unit, with a minimum of two seats for each school or division across job levels. Seats available to elect members are due to term limits and members deciding to vacate their positions, so seats may not be available in all divisions/schools.
