While I was rising senior at Hopkins, I spent the summer on a volunteer teaching assignment in a remote Indian village. This one college experience was a turning point in my life. It inspired the founding of Surge and my calling to do international development work. At Surge, I constantly see how even the even the smallest actions can have far-reaching impact. It’s what keeps me going!
