Grad school is just a golden period to do what I want. Johns Hopkins is the best for that because we can collaborate really well. It’s stupid easy to collaborate at Hopkins compared to other schools. Here, it’s an expected thing. It’s like there’s a real community here for us to get our research done. It’s really nuts. I’ve been on four or five projects that have already been completed because a bunch of us are doing little pieces, and then we come together and have these aha moments. Do your part and it’s done. It’s really, really nice.
