I was flying from Detroit back to Tokyo, and about two hours after we departed, I witnessed a man sitting a few seats away fall into a severe diabetic coma. He was unconscious. ... We had a doctor on board and he did spontaneous treatment and saved the man’s life. That was the moment that I started to think about going into the medical field.
