What is ISIS?

Integrated Student Information System (ISIS) is Johns Hopkins' first university-wide, web-based student information system. It is designed for you.

If you are an applicant, you can apply online and receive regular communications regarding your application.

If you are a current student or graduate, you can use any web-browser to get 24/7 access to information about your financial aid, your class schedule, your grades, and your student account.

If you are a faculty member, you can print your course roster, email your entire class, and enter grades online.

If you are an advisor, you can review students' records and release registration holds.

If you are on staff in admissions, financial aid, the registrars' or student accounts offices, you will handle routine tasks more efficiently, so you can focus on the big picture.

Recent Enhancements

as of 06/06/2008

For Students

  • Improved weekly calendar by adding printable view with course name, location and time details, and coloring to distinguish between classes
  • Ability to easily print enrollment confirmations.

For Faculty

  • Faculty can now view and download combined rosters (viewing multiple sections at once).
  • Email your entire class without using the default email client for the computer. This is particularly useful when you are on a lab computer or public workstation.
  • Student photos for courses with more than 50 enrollments are not displayed by default. This allows the course roster to load much more quickly. You can choose to display these photos at any point by clicking Show Photos.

For Advisors

  • Improved faster performance.
  • View your advisees class schedule.

For Authorized Payers

  • You will only receive an email if your student's account has activity or carries a balance due.
