Who We Are

In April 1994, fifteen women at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign founded Delta Xi Phi, a National Multicultural Sorority. These women chose five pillars upon which to build and guide the sorority: Multicultural Awareness, Community Service, the Advancement of Women through Higher Education, Sisterhood and Friendship. Throughout the years, these pillars have attracted smart, driven, and active young women who came together to promote the values and the ideals of the sisterhood. Today, Delta Xi Phi consists of seventeen chapters nationwide, including chapters in Illinois, California, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Alabama, Maryland, and Michigan. It is one of the largest, fastest growing Multicultural Sororities in America.
