Community Relations and Outreach Programs

Outreach Programs Directory
The Community Relations Directory has grown out of a cooperative effort between the various divisions of the Johns Hopkins Institutions to identify voluntary initiatives that support our neighboring communities. Use this site to search the database for projects that you may wish to participate in, research the history of projects sponsored by specific divisions or the institution as a whole, or locate projects targeting a specific neighborhood. Learn how Hopkins is involved in its communities.

Search | Display a list of projects | Access the database system

If you coordinate outreach programs for any of the Johns Hopkins Institutions please access the database system to submit them to the directory. The information you submit will be reviewed before it is added to the directory.

What Neighbors Can Do

In 1876 Johns Hopkins became home to the Charity Organization Society, one of the nation's first nonprofit agencies created to coordinate charitable resources across the community under one roof. Today, The Johns Hopkins Institutions continue to be a leader in partnering with their neighbors to address pressing social concerns.
