- Panelist: Dr. Tina Kiang (Biomedical Engineer, Food and Drug Administration)
Have you ever wondered what you can do with a PhD? We always hear about the standard academia and industry careers, but what about other options? The Women of Whiting (WoW) invites you to our panel discussion on alternative routes one can take with a PhD. Join us for a chance to share your thoughts with Dr. Tina Kiang, a Biomedical Engineer currently working for the FDA.
Dr. Tina Kiang's Biography: Tina Kiang received her bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Cooper Union and graduated in 2005 with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University. She studied polymer biomaterials with an emphasis on controlled release technologies under Kam Leong. She joined the FDA in 2005 as a member of the intraocular and corneal implants branch.Baltimore-Washington Section Upcoming Events
