The Summer 2013 sessions are considered part of the 2012-2013 academic year. You must be a matriculating undergraduate student in a degree program to receive aid. In order to qualify for Federal loans, you must enroll for a minimum of six (6) undergraduate credits for the summer terms.
Summer Financial Aid Options:
1. NEED-BASED GRANT AID
For Hopkins undergraduates who currently receive need-based Hopkins grant funding, there are a limited number of partial need-based summer grants available for study in Homewood's undergraduate summer courses. To be considered for a summer grant, you must submit the JHU Summer Aid Application by March 15, 2013. You will be notified of your eligibility for a summer grant via email by May 15.
2. FEDERAL DIRECT STUDENT LOANS

Students enrolled for a minimum of six (6) credits may also be eligible for Federal Direct Student Loans. File the JHU Summer Aid Application by April 30. Click here to apply.
3. FEDERAL PLUS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL LOANS
Federal Parent (PLUS) loans as well as other educational loans for undergraduates are also available to meet the cost for summer courses. For information about Federal PLUS and other educational loans, visit this web site.
4. COMMUNITY SERVICE FEDERAL WORK STUDY (FWS)
Community Service Federal Work Study funding is available during the summer. Students who received federal work study as part of their financial aid package are eligible, as long as they are enrolled in summer courses or are planning to be enrolled for the next semester (fall 2013). File the JHU Summer Aid Application by April 30.
5. NON-FWS JOBS
