Women's Health Class

How do I prevent myself from getting cervical cancer?

What is a pap smear test? How is it done?

What types of birth control are available for me? How well do they work? What are the side effects?

These and many other frequently asked questions are answered in our Women's Health class which is offered on Thursday afternoons.

This free class is approximately one hour and is taught by Kathy Slone, CNM. She is happy to answer any of your burning questions, especially those which you may have felt embarrassed to ask your doctor.

The class is taught in an informal, comfortable environment at the Health and Wellness Center. This class is especially helpful for those women who have never had a pelvic exam or who are interested in learning in-depth about birth control options and choices.

If you are interested, please call the Health and Wellness Center for available classes.  (410) 516-8270.
