Office visits:

 

There is no charge for office visits for all students enrolled full-time or part-time in the Schools of Arts and Sciences and Engineering.

 

There is a charge for office visits for the following students:

• visiting students at Johns Hopkins University ($50.00*/visit; $30.00*/follow-up visit)

Note:We no longer see students from the School of Professional Studies or the Carey Business School or students on a medical leave of absence. Peabody students are seen by Johns Hopkins Community Physicians at Wyman Park. Medical Public Health/Nursing students are seen at University Health Services.  

 

Services, supplies, and medications:

 

There are charges for the following items and services:

• Contraception and contraceptive supplies  

• Immunizations

• Laboratory tests 

• Medical supplies  

• Medications

• Medical records 

• Pap Smears 

• Pre-employment physical exams

• Pre-entrance health form completion (There is a $75.00 fee if the pre-entrance health form is completed here at the Health and Wellness Center.)

Students are also responsible for charges for hospital emergency room visits, specialists' fees, diagnostic tests, and x-rays. Often these charges are covered by your health insurance company.

We accept the following forms of payment:

• Cash

• Check

• Credit Card (Visa or Master Card)

• J-Card

• Direct billing to student's university account (for charges of $8.00 or more)

We are unable to honor outside prescription plans at this time.
