Rape Aggression Defense (RAD)

The RAD system is a program of realistic
self-defense tactics and techniques for women. The RAD system is a
comprehensive women-only course with the instructional objective “To develop and
enhance the options of self-defense, so they may become viable considerations to
the woman attacked.” The program includes crime prevention awareness, risk
reduction/ avoidance, and basic self-defense techniques. RAD is not a martial
arts program and no prior training or knowledge is required to attend the
class. Women of all ages and fitness levels can participate in the class. RAD
is a 12 hour course consisting of four, 3 hour classes. Class size is limited
to 20 students and there is no cost to attend.
RAD comes with a lifetime return and practice
policy, where once you complete the course, you may attend any additional RAD
classes free of charge.
