Crime Prevention Tip Of the Day

Safety as Social Responsibility -- To reduce the temptation to passersby, if possible, keep valuables and expensive equipment out of the line of sight of someone walking past the office or lab’s doorway. Though it’s somewhat inconvenient, by locking the doors of areas you are leaving unoccupied you are behaving responsibly toward your fellow researchers’ personal property in those areas.
