On Campus

 

 

Theft From Building3003 N. Charles St. (suite 300) – On Nov. 19th at 3:45 PM, a staff member was contacted by her bank regarding a large credit card purchase this date.  Upon checking for her credit card, she found it to be missing from her purse.  It was eventually found in the kitchen area of the suite.    Investigation continuing.

 

 

 

Off Campus

 

Burglary – 3101 N Calvert – On Nov. 19th between 3:15 PM, and 6:00 PM, a JHU senior reported his backpack and laptop was removed from his bedroom located on the third floor rear, and 2 laptops and a Play station 3 was removed from another housemate’s bedroom located on the third floor front.  Entry was gained through an unsecured third floor bedroom window.  Baltimore City Police responded. Investigation continuing.

 

Destruction of Property – 3100 Wyman Park Drive – On Nov. 20th at 2:22 AM, a Campus Officer discovered that the arm of the turnstile on the egress from the reserve lot was broken off.  Investigation continuing.

 

Crime Prevention Tip Of the Day

               

 

Preventing Theft in the Work place -- Don’t leave unsecured property in the Office or work place.  Secure all cabinets, lockers and doors when away from the office for any period of time.  If at all possible never leave currency in the office or work area.  If a theft does occur, report it to staff and campus security immediately.
