Theft - AMR 1 Multi-Purpose Room -On July 30th at 8:30 AM, an employee placed his cell phone on a table in the multipurpose room and left it unattended. On his return at 8:45 AM, the phone was missing. Investigation continuing.
ARREST- Juvenile - Theft (Property Recovered) - 3300 Blk. St. Paul St. (east sidewalk)- On August 2nd at 7:23 PM, a JHU undergraduate was walking northbound at this location carrying a cell phone in her back pocket. A male juvenile approached the undergraduate from behind and took the cell phone from her pocket and ran eastbound on E. 33rd Street. The undergraduate quickly reported the incident to a nearby campus officer who broadcasted the suspect's description. Baltimore Police stopped a 15-year old non-affiliate who matched the description at Old York Road and 35th Street. The stolen cell phone was located in the juvenile's possession and the undergraduate positively identified the juvenile as the person that took the cell phone. The juvenile was arrested by the Baltimore Police and the cell phone was returned to the undergraduate.
Theft from Auto - Art Museum Drive (near Charles St.) - On July 29th at 10:30 AM, a graduate student parked her vehicle, leaving a GPS unit on the dash. She returned at 6:10 PM to find that someone had broken the front passenger window and stolen the GPS device. Baltimore Police responded.
When traveling at night use the Blue Jay Shuttle service at 410-516-8700. Blue Jay Shuttle Vans are operational from 5:45 PM to 4:00 AM.
