Thef t- MSE Library - On July 19th between 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM, an employee left his MacBook Pro laptop unattended on a table in a C-Level cubicle. The employee returned a few minutes later and the laptop was missing. This incident was reported on July 23rd. Investigation continuing.
Assault and Attempted Robbery of Non-Affiliate - 3000 Blk. Hunter St. - On July 27th at 10:00 PM. See Security Alert http://www.jhu.edu/security/SA2013Su07.pdf
Burglary - 3000 Blk. Guilford Ave. (even-numbered side) - On July 23rd at 4:00 PM, a non-affiliate left his residence. Upon returning at 11:40 PM, he saw that his rear door had been pried open. Two video game systems and 40 video games were removed from the residence. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing.
Theft - 3003 N. Charles St., Homewood Apartments - On July 25th at 8:30 AM, a JHU undergraduate left a bag containing a camera and other personal items unattended on the floor in the hallway. The undergraduate returned a few minutes later and the camera and one other personal item were missing. Investigation continuing.
Damaged Property - 3000 Blk. N. Charles St., east side of street- On July 25th at 5:45 PM, a JHU staff member was walking at this location when several stones hit the street in her vicinity. The staff member observed a group of juveniles on the opposite side of N. Charles St. walking north bound, however none were seen throwing stones. The staff member later observed a crack in the windshield of her vehicle which was parked in the same block. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing.
When traveling at night use the Blue Jay Shuttle service at 410-516-8700. Blue Jay Shuttle Vans are operational from 5:45 PM to 4:00 AM.
