Weekly Campus Crime Report

 

June 24, 2013 - July 1, 2013

 

On-Campus 

Theft - Homewood Apts. 3rd floor - On June 30th at 8:17 PM, an undergraduate reported that while he was away for the weekend a white 5' x 7' flag had been taken from the wall of the room he was subletting. Investigation continuing.

 

CCTV Monitoring / Theft of Bicycle Seat- Hodson Hall, east bike rack - On June 27th at 4:39 PM, a male was observed removing a quick-release bicycle seat from a bicycle secured at the rack. The suspect placed the seat in the trunk of a vehicle waiting at the south side of Hodson Hall and left the campus in the vehicle. Investigation continuing.

 

Vandalism - Interfaith Center, 3509 N. Charles St. - On June 23rd at 7:30 AM, a campus officer found that a large masonry flower pot had been broken from having been pushed over onto the front steps. Investigation continuing.

 

Off-Campus 

ARREST ON OPEN WARRANT - E. 28th St. & St. Paul St. - On June 28th at 12:48 AM, a campus officer observed two males tampering with a bicycle chained to a pole at this location. Campus officers and an off-duty Baltimore Police officer working for JHU stopped the two non-affiliates and identified them. One of the males, who was in possession of bolt cutters, was arrested on an open warrant by Baltimore Police.

 

 

 When traveling at night use the Blue Jay Shuttle service at 410-516-8700.  Blue Jay Shuttle Vans are operational from 5:45 PM to 4:00 AM.

All students are welcome to participate in the security ride along program.
