Weekly Campus Crime Report

 

May 13, 2013 - May 20, 2013

 

On-Campus 

Vandalism - Interfaith Center, 3509 N. Charles St. - Between May 14th at 8:20 AM and May 15th at 8:20 AM, a 40-inch tall masonry flower pot was broken from having been pushed over onto the front steps. Investigation continuing.

 

Destruction of Property - Charles Commons, 8th floor - On May 16th at 7:20 AM, an undergraduate returned to her room and found one of her dresser drawers in disarray and some clothing items in the drawer torn. Another student in the suite reported observing a person in the suite at approximately 5:00 AM who quickly fled from the suite. Investigation continuing.

 

Off Campus

 

Theft from Auto - 2800 Blk. Lovegrove St. - On May 13th at 12:00 AM, a non-affiliate parked and secured her vehicle at this location. At 9:30 AM, a campus officer on patrol discovered the vehicle had a broken front passenger side window. The non-affiliate owner was located and stated her GPS unit had been taken from inside the vehicle and her wallet containing three credit cards had been taken from her purse which was located on the front seat. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing.

 

Theft from Auto - 3700 Blk. N. Charles St. - Between May 14th at 8:00 PM and May 15th at 5:15 AM, a GPS unit was taken from the center console inside a student's parked vehicle.  A side window had been broken to gain entry to the vehicle. Baltimore Police were notified. Investigation continuing.

 

 

 When traveling at night use the Blue Jay Shuttle service at 410-516-8700.  Blue Jay Shuttle Vans are operational from 5:45 PM to 4:00 AM.

All students are welcome to participate in the security ride along program.
