Theft -
Charles Commons, room 304 -
On September 10th between 11:00 AM and 1:15 PM, two unattended laptop
computers belonging to Aramark Food Services and a
backpack were taken from an unlocked room while the persons meeting in the room
were at lunch. Investigation continuing.
Theft - Mudd Hall, lab 140 - On September 11th between 8:00 AM and 11:30 AM, unbeknownst to a graduate student, her unattended purse which was located on a lab desk containing cash, credit cards and personal items was taken. Later in the day, a local store owner found some of the stolen items from the purse in the 1000 block of West 36th Street. Campus officers recovered the property and investigation revealed an unknown male tried to pawn the property from the purse at a local pawn shop but was unsuccessful. Investigation continuing. Suspect Description: Male, white, late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 6 feet tall, average build, brown hair that is heavily gelled forming a point from front to back, carrying a blue backpack.
Theft
- Fresh Food Café
- On Sept. 12th between 3:00 PM and 8:30 PM, a clutch
purse
containing cash was taken from an Aramark employee’s purse which was
unattended in an unlocked Aramark office. The purse,
minus the cash, was found in a trash can the following morning outside the MSE
library. The theft was reported by the employee on Sept. 13th. Investigation continuing.
Theft – Garland Hall, 2nd floor office
– Between Sept. 7th at 4:00 PM and Sept. 12th at 10:00
AM, an Apple IPad and magnetic keyboard were taken
from a desk drawer which was not locked. There were no signs of forced entry to
the office. Investigation continuing.
Vandalism -
Eastern Campus, 1101 E. 33rd St. -
On Sept. 7th at 3:47 PM, the roof of an employee’s vehicle was
damaged while it was parked on the East Lot. Camera footage later showed a
juvenile male suspect run up the hood of the car and jump on the roof. Investigation continuing.

When traveling at night use the Blue Jay Shuttle service at 410-516-8700. Blue Jay Shuttle Vans are operational from 5:45 PM to 4:00 AM.
