On-Campus

 

Bicycle Theft - Bike Rack at the north end of Maryland Hall - On July 5th between 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM, a bicycle equipped with a child seat was taken from the bike rack.  Investigation continuing.

Off Campus

Attempt Bicycle Theft / CCTV Monitoring Interfaith Center Bike Rack, Unit Blk. E. University Parkway – On July 8th at 5:12 AM, an unknown male attempted to cut a bicycle’s cable lock. The male was unsuccessful and entered a vehicle parked near the bike rack. Campus officers and an off-duty Baltimore Police officer working for JHU responded and blocked in the vehicle. The suspect backed the vehicle into a campus patrol vehicle and drove away. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing. 

Student Mischief (Alcohol Related) / Criminal Citation Issued31st and St. Paul Sts. – On July 8th at 1:42 AM, a Baltimore Police officer observed an undergraduate dragging a street sign belonging to the City of Baltimore. Baltimore Police issued a criminal citation for theft to the undergraduate.  A fake identification card was also confiscated from the undergraduate.

REMINDERS

When traveling at night use the Blue Jay Shuttle service at 410-516-8700.  Blue Jay Shuttle Vans are operational from 5:45 PM to 4:00 AM.
