On Campus
Theft – AMR II, Hollander Dorm – On July 3rd at 3:00 PM, a CTY student discovered that his wallet had been taken from the top of his dresser. Investigation continuing. (reported July 7th )

Off Campus
Burglary – Eastern Campus, East Wing Ground Floor – On July 8th between 8:25 PM and 11:50 PM, an unknown person forced open an outer office window gaining access to the office and suite, entered and took a laptop, nine flat screen monitors, a change purse, a push cart and two mail bins. When the suspect exited the building, an alarm was activated alerting the building guard who, in turn, observed the suspect on the security cameras fleeing via the rear courtyard door. Campus Officers were called and searched the area to no avail. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing.
Common Assault – Homewood/JHMI Shuttle – On July 9th between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM, an undergraduate reports being assaulted by an unknown male sitting behind her on the shuttle. The male touched the undergraduate’s hip and back repeatedly. No injuries. Baltimore Police responded. Investigation continuing.

Attempt Thefts:
ARREST - Attempt Burglary – 3600 Blk. Greenway
& 3200 – 3400 Blks. N. Charles St. – On
July 11th at 9:00 AM, a community member reported a male trying
doors to buildings along the 3600 Blk. of Greenway and 3400 Blk. of Charles
Street. Shortly afterwards, the suspect was observed on CCTV trying doors
along the 3200 Blk. of N. Charles Street. A campus officer responded and
stopped the suspect. Baltimore Police also responded and arrested the
non-affiliated male for attempt burglary.
REMINDERS
When traveling at night use the Security Department’s escort service
at 410-516-8700. Security Escort Vans are operational from 5:00 PM
to 3:00AM.
During exam week an Escort Van will also be running from 3:00 AM to
7:00 AM as a service to students studying on campus.
