On Campus

 

 

TheftMSE Library, C-Level – On May 6th between 11:15 AM and 1:45 PM, an undergraduate left his textbook unattended at a workstation while he went to lunch.  Upon returning 2 1/2 hours later he discovered his book was missing.  Investigation continuing.

 

TheftClark Hall – Between May 6th at 11:15 PM and May 7th at 3:00 PM, a walkman player was taken from an unlocked storage closet on the first floor.  Investigation continuing.  (Reported May 8th)

 

TheftWolman Hall – On May 10th between 4:00 AM and 10:00 AM, currency was taken from a freshman’s unlocked dresser drawer while he was out of the room which may have been left unlocked. RA notified. Investigation continuing.

 

 Off Campus

 

ARREST UPDATE: - On May 5th 2008, in The District Court of Maryland, RICHARD MCCORD, the suspect arrested on January 24th 2008 for the two robberies that occurred at 300 E. 30th Street and the 2700 Lovegrove Street, plead guilty to both robberies.  MCCORD was given a fifteen (15) year concurrent sentence.

 

Theft from AutoRear of 300 Blk. E. University Pkwy. – Between May 7th at 7:00 PM and May 9th at 12:30 AM, the rear passenger vent window of an undergraduate’s parked vehicle was broken and a bag, two cameras, a wallet and keys were removed from the front seat.  Baltimore Police responded.  Investigation continuing.

 

ARREST UPDATE: - On May10th 2008, Baltimore Police arrested suspect MARLOW HUMBERT, for the March 30th rape that occurred in the 2200 block of St. Paul Street and the attempt rape from March 5th in the 2600 block of St. Paul Street.  HUMBERT is currently being held in a no-bail status.

 

 

 

REMINDERS

 

When traveling at night use the Security Department’s escort service at 410-516-8700.  Security Escort Vans are operational from 5:00 PM to 3:00AM.

During exam week an Escort Van will also be running from 3:00 AM to 7:00 AM as a service to students studying on campus.
