Closing the Dome

Close the louvers Operate the air valve with the red ball handle on the wall above the desk.
Dome Track Off Set the AUTO DOME switch to off.
Cover the telescope Use the handpaddle to drive the telescope SW and use the ladder to replace the cover. Replace the finder cover if you removed it.
Move telescope to zenith Use the handpaddle to get the telescope off the soft limits, if necessary.
Turn the telescope tracking off at the control panel.
Use the TCS movement menu to send the telescope to the zenith.
Turn off drives Switch the drives off and push in the red HALT MOTORS button.
Move dome to NW Use the handpaddle to drive the dome to the NW, to about 320 degrees azimuth.
Close the shutter dropout Climb the ladder and crank the dropout closed.
Close the dome Go to the "miscellaneous" TCS menu and select "CLOSE the dome."  The dome should close. If not, check the power switch on the wall-mounted box on the north wall to the left of the toolboxes (it should be on).
Send the dome home Set the DOME TRACK switch to HOME and set the AUTO DOME switch to "on" and wait for the dome to go home.
Turn the dome off Set AUTO DOME switch to off.
Disable dome shutter Turn off dome shutter power by throwing the switch on the left side of the wall-mounted box on the north wall near the toolboxes.
