The PT has observed a number of "pretty" astronomical objects, usually on partly cloudy nights. These include: M8, M13, M17, M31, M53, M63, M78, M88, M91, M107, NGC253, NGC2359, NGC5053, and NGC 5005. Because the SDSS filter set is not a good approximation of the himan eye, the colors in these images do not necessarily match what a human eye would see looking directly through a telescope.
