From Villa Julie College
JHU is about 9 miles from stevenson. Go east on Green Spring Valley Road for about 2 miles
to Falls Road. Turn right onto Falls Road and continue south to highway 83
south. Take I-83 South about 5.25 miles to Cold Springs Lane (exits 9A-9B). Go
left on Cold Springs Lane for about .75 miles. As you crest the hill, get in the
right lane and turn right onto Roland Avenue. Continue for .1 miles and take the
left as the road comes to a Y intersection. Continue along University Parkway for
another .75 miles. As you cross a small bridge, move to the right lane and turn
right onto San Martin Drive. San Martin will bend to the left and then to the
right. At the bent to the right, look to your left for the ARMY sign on the Rappel
tower. The ROTC building is to the right of the tower. Use caution for
oncoming traffic as you cross the road, continue to the right of the ROTC building and try
to park in front of the building. Go to the second floor to obtain a visitor parking
pass.
From UMBC
Go southeast on Loop Road towards Hilltop Road. Take the Interstate 195 East
Ramp. Merge onto I-195 east. Take the I-95 North exit, exit number 4A, towards
Baltimore / I-695. Merge onto I-395 north. Keep left at the fork in the ramp.
Take I-395 north to Martin Luther King Boulevard. Take MLK Boulevard north to
I-83 north. Take I-83 South to Cold Springs Lane (exits 9A-9B). Go right on Cold
Springs Lane for about .7 miles. As you crest the hill, get in the right lane and
turn right onto Roland Avenue. Continue for .1 miles and take the left as the road
comes to a Y intersection. Continue along University Parkway for another .75 miles.
As you cross a small bridge, move to the right lane and turn right onto San Martin
Drive. San Martin will bend to the left and then to the right. At the bent to
the right, look to your left for the ARMY sign on the Rappel tower. The ROTC

building. Go to the second floor to obtain a visitor parking pass.
From I-95 (southbound) or from I-695 (the Baltimore Beltway) or from Jones Falls Expressway (I-83) southbound
Take
I-83 South to Cold Springs Lane (exits 9A-9B). Go left on Cold Springs Lane for
about .75 miles. As you crest the hill, get in the right lane and turn right onto
Roland Avenue. Continue for .1 miles and take the left as the road comes to a Y
intersection. Continue along University Parkway for another .75 miles. As you
cross a small bridge, move to the right lane and turn right onto San Martin Drive.

From I-95 (Northbound)
Take exit 53 onto I-395 north toward
downtown Baltimore, then take the exit to Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and follow the
directions from Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard (below) or continue on to I-83 North
to the Cold Springs exit.
From Maryland 295 (the Baltimore-Washington Parkway)
Entering Baltimore, the parkway becomes Russell Street. Stay on Russell Street until (with
the new Baltimore Ravens stadium to your right and Oriole Park at Camden Yards looming
before you) you reach the right-hand exit marked Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard (look
carefully for this; the signs are small). This exit will put you very briefly on a
service road parallel to Russell Street. Stay to the left and take the ramp marked Martin
Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Follow the directions from Martin Luther King Jr.
Boulevard (below) or continue on to I-83 North to the Cold Springs exit.
From Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard
Take MLK Boulevard
north until it ends at Howard Street (remain in one of the middle lanes of King Boulevard
to avoid a premature forced right or left turn). Turn left at Howard Street and
proceed about 2 miles. One block past 29th Street, turn left at the traffic island (just
before the Baltimore Museum of Art) onto Wyman Park Drive. Continue on Wyman Park
Drive until you reach San Martin Drive. Take a right on San Martin Drive.
Turn right into the parking lot behind the sports stadium. You should see the ARMY
sign on the Rappel tower. The ROTC building is to the right of the tower.
Continue to the right and try to park in front of the building. Go to the second
floor to obtain a visitor parking pass.
