JHU is pleased to announce a new partnership with Ikon for the procurement of the full line of Canon and Ricoh black and white, and color digital copiers and fax machines.
Return to TOPThe partnership between Johns Hopkins University and Ikon is intended to give the University the best possible equipment configuration and solutions at the most competitive pricing. Ikon is offering significant savings to departments on new multifunction equipment. Under this program, departments may reduce their current operating costs by as much as 10% by trading in old equipment for new digital multifunction products. Ikon is offering special incentives to departments that do not currently have Canon or Ricoh equipment. Special trade-in allowances are available for non-Ikon competitive equipment upgrades.

As part of the Johns Hopkins/Ikon partnership program, a dedicated team of Ikon sales and customer service personnel will service the University community.
An Ikon representative will be on campus five days a week to service the University community.
Return to TOPPurchase - JHU will own the equipment outright and pay a one-time equipment charge invoice. There is the option to place the equipment on a service agreement at an additional monthly cost. Supplies are not included in this option.
Ikon Lease - JHU will pay a monthly equipment fee, including service costs. At the end of the term, there is an option to purchase the equipment or return it to Ikon for a new unit or upgrade. Supplies are not included in this option.
Ikon Operating Lease - JHU will pay a monthly charge for the equipment component that includes the cost of service and supplies. There is no option to own this equipment. Ikon will retain ownership. This also affords the option of requesting customized billing to meet each department’s specific needs.
Return to TOPThe Ikon Total Satisfaction Guarantee is its expression of confidence in the performance of its products. Ikon will replace, without charge, any equipment not found to function satisfactorily with an identical model, or with a machine with comparable features and capabilities. This guarantee will be effective for three years on purchased equipment, or five years with an Ikon Lease or Ikon Operating Lease.
