On-line Shipping via UPS!

Register Here to Ship UPS ON-LINE through JHU Mail Services right from your desktop providing personal address books and e-mail notifications with tracking numbers
to both the senders and recipients.

JHU Central Mail Services is an authorized
ON-LINE UPS Shipping Center. We offer University departments a full line of UPS services such as Next-Day Express, 2-Day, 3-Day, and Ground services as well as International Express and Expedited services. All domestic packages shipped via UPS are automatically insured for $100 and additional insurance is also available up to $50,000.
Every UPS shipment receives a tracking number
and can be traced on the way to its destination.

Shipping costs are internally charged directly to a department budget code. Participating departments receive an itemized monthly report detailing all shipping charges. Costs associated with shipping through UPS are based on discounted rates negotiated between UPS and JHU Central Purchasing.
Items shipped UPS On-line through JHU Mail Services will receive most eligible discounts.

Departments with Mail Center Meter Accounts are offered free pick-up of items intended for UPS shipping along with the collection of their daily mail.

Package Tracing & Cost Estimates

UPS is an inexpensive way to ship ground packages anywhere in the contiguous 48 states and Hawaii. UPS also offers an international express service to many locations worldwide.
Next-Day and Second-Day air services are also available within the United States and Puerto Rico.

UPS can not deliver to a P.O. Box.
Domestic packages shipped via UPS are automatically insured for $100. Every UPS shipment will receive a tracking number and can be traced on the way to its destination. Packages must not exceed 130 inches in combined length and girth.
No single dimension must exceed 108 inches.
Weight must not exceed 150 pounds.
UPS can not deliver to a post office box.
Standard Ground Service
Ground service is available to all ZIP codes in the 48 contiguous states and Hawaii. Delivery times range from one to five business days. Packages sent to commercial address have guaranteed delivery times that vary from zone to zone. Ground Service to destinations within 200 mile will typically be guaranteed for the next business day.
Next Day Air
Next Day Air is delivered on the next business day, Monday through Friday, to most ZIP codes in the United Stated and Puerto Rico. Next Day Air Saver is an economical option for most areas which will guarantee next day delivery by the end of the business day.
Second Day Air
Second day air is delivered on the second business day, Monday through Friday, to most ZIP codes in the United States and Puerto Rico. Second day air letters and packages cost around two-thirds the price of next day service.
Three Day Select
Three day select is delivered on the third business day, Monday through Friday, to most ZIP codes in the United Stated and Puerto Rico. Three day select offers a mix of security and speed, by guaranteeing delivery within three business days throughout the 48 contiguous states.
