The most critical information for Homewood Campus addressing is the department name and/or the Primary Department Code.
The University's Central Mail Services of the Homewood Campus processes Incoming and Internal Mail according to the Primary Departments established by Human Resources with Personnel and Payroll information. Homewood Campus addressing does NOT require a Building and Room Number for delivery. Physical departmental office locations are kept on file in the Mail Services Route directory.
Location changes for department offices should be reported to Homewood Mail Services on department letterhead in order to maintain uninterupted deliveries and collections.
Please noteJohns Hopkins Medical Institutions does currently require Building and Room #'s for delivery.
Delivery and Collections
Homewood Mail Services standard provision includes one (1)
delivery and collection daily to a single location for each Primary Department at the Homewood Campus.
Homewood Primary Departments in off-campus, Baltimore City locations south of 30th Street and north of University Parkway receive one (1) delivery and collection of internal mail daily.
The campus of the Peabody Institute and the East Baltimore Medical Campus receives one (1) delivery and collection of internal mail daily for each Divisional location.
