| Engineers Without Borders-USA is a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life through sustainable engineering projects, while involving and training internationally responsible engineers and engineering students.” The Johns Hopkins University Chapter of EWB-USA ("EWB-JHU") seeks to fulfill EWB-USA’s goals to partner with and help developing communities through the participation and partnership of students, professors, and professionals. EWB-JHU will forge long-term relationships with the host communities and local organizations in technological exchanges that will empower the communities, resulting in a greater student understanding of global cultures and needs. | ||
