Pre-Trip Procedure

Sign up online
- (starting second Sunday before trip at midnight, lasting one week)

Receive email confirming you're on the trip
- (Monday night before trip)

Attend mandatory pre-trip meeting
- (Tuesday night before trip, but sometimes Wednesday)

Turn in med form and waiver if necessary and if not completed at the pre-trip meeting

Meet at the JHOC Clubroom at the designated time—enjoy the trip!

Detailed Information
- Sign Ups
- Sign up fast! The first four people to sign up are guaranteed a spot on the trip. After that, the remaining available spaces are given out by a lottery. If you miss the official sign up period, email with your name, email, and phone number. She will forward your information to the trip leader who will let you know if you can be added to the trip.
- Pre-Trip Meeting
- During this mandatory meeting, the trip leader(s) will go over important information about the trip and allow you to fill out a med form and waiver. Make sure to bring your health insurance information with you—this information is required on the med form! If you like, you may print the Med Form [pdf] and waiver (Backpacking and Hiking [pdf], Canoeing [pdf], Caving [pdf], Climbing [pdf], General [pdf]) beforehand to get a head start. If you absolutely can not make the pre-trip meeting, let the trip leader know this! If you do not contact your leader and fail to show up, your spot will be given to someone else.
- Required Paperwork
- Every person is required to complete a medform and waiver before going on a trip. These forms can be viewed and printed by following the links above. Please be sure to fill out the waiver appropriate for the trip you will be on.
