George Widener

George Widener is a high functioning autistic person. He is diagnosed as being aspergers. He has several gifts that some autistic people have, these include dates, some numbers, and drawing. George Widener has several thousand historical dates in his memory, thousands of calendars, and more than a thousand census population statistics. George is what is called a lightning calendar calculator in that he has special abilities with calendars, however, unlike the majority of savants, he has near normal overall intelligence. He uses lots of approaches in his artwork. Although he did have some drawing lessons in his thirties, he is primarily a self-taught artist.
