The CHRONOS Network |

 This is a public network of 'federated databases' containing Earth system history information related to evolution and biodiversity, climate change, geochemical cycles, geodynamics, and other geological processes that contribute to the knowledge of geological time. State-of-the-art information technologies and advanced correlation tools that will be used by CHRONOS are expected to help increase the precision of the geological time scale by an order of magnitude. These pointers access the main CHRONOS website and lead to general information about geoscience cyber-initiatives.
