Objective:Conversion of stratigraphic depth-to-time that involves "tuning" to age models and/or fine-scale theoretical orbital signals has been historically challenging. The development of Analyseries (Paillard et al. 1996) changed the status quo with innovative interactive graphics for "target tuning," and powerful computational algorithms for accomplishing accurate digital signal realignment. CHRONOS will develop these and other tools (see CORRELATE) into a platform-independent browser environment.CONTINUE |
