Welcome Eta Epsilon Chapter the Johns Hopkins University.
Kappa
Kappa Gamma is a very special and unique sisterhood. Our new sisters
are chosen every year not only for their personal accomplishments and
involvement, but because they are truly mature, kind, caring and fun
women who grow to become close friends. The Kappas of Johns Hopkins are
a close-knit community - we form a bond with each and every sister and
can count on one another in times of happiness as well in times of
need. We are
interested in building a community of friends: extraordinary women who
genuinely enjoy our time together and wish to make the most of our
college years as sisters. Spend any time with the Kappas and you will
see that we may be diverse, but we all have on thing in common: love
for our sorority and faith in our enduring friendship.

September 17th, 2009:
We just welcomed eight fantastic women to the Tau class! Congratulations, ladies! March 27th, 2009:
Our Charity Fashion Show was a great success! Local designers dressed
professional models (and some Hopkins one, too!) in gorgeous Spring
clothing and the audience really enjoyed the show! We raised lots of
money for Reading Is Fundamental, our National Philanthropy. March 7th, 2009:
Sisters participated in the Doggie Date Auction, run by Hopkins PAWS, to
raise money for a local animal shelter! Five of our sisters and
new members were "auctioned off" with their canine partners, and many
sisters attended and bid. PAWS raised over $1,500 dollars for the
Baltimore Animal Rescue Center and Shelter! One of our New Members,
Lydia, was one of the event's main organizers. Great job, Lydia! February 2009: Eta Epsilon welcomed 38 wonderful New Members to our sisterhood! This is our biggest pledge class yet and we couldn't be happier with these amazing women!

October 26th: Kappa Kappa Gamma won Greek Week 2008! October 25th:
The Kite & Key Cook-Off was a great success! Despite the rainy
weather, Greeks came out to grill (and sample) some tasty burgers. We
raised money and collected lots of cans for the Maryland Food Bank! September
14th:
Two of our sisters, Allison and Anne, have just returned from Kappa
Kappa Gamma Leadership Academy, where they participated in
four
days of intensive training to learn how to be better leaders in our
chapter and the community. They had the incredible experience of
meeting over 300 collegiates and alumnae from around the world! They
also had the privilege of meeting Denise Rugani, the Fraternity Grand
President, and Michelle, a member of Eta Epsilon's charter
class.
Summer 2008:
Eta
Epsilon Chapter won the Panhellenic Award at the Kappa Kappa
Gamma International Convention! It was a great honor for our chapter. Summer
2008: Two of our Kappa sisters, Meg
and Alison, will be biking
across the country in the Hopkins 4K for Cancer. Good luck! April 27th 2008: In
addition to running the Spring Fair children's section, Kappas ran a
t-shirt tie-dye booth to raise money for the Kappa Kappa Gamma
Foundation! We had 100% participation from the sisters and had a great
time! April 18th, 2008: Kappa
sisters - more than half of the chapter - participated in
Relay
for Life to help fund cancer research. Despite chilly weather and the
lack of a tent, sisters stayed all night and raised a lot of money. Our
Miss Relay contestant even won first runner up! Three sisters, Ashlyn,
Rima and Alison, helped to run the event as well as the whole 'Cancer
Sucks' week at Hopkins - great work!
April 12th,
2008: We
had a wonderful Homecoming brunch this morning with alumni of Eta
Epsilon chapter! It was a great way to get to know our older sisters -
we even got to meet a few women from the Alpha pledge class! After
brunch the sisters cheered on the Blue Jays at our big lacrosse game
against Maryland - we won!
April 5th, 2008: We
raised over $1,000 for a local elementary school today at our Barnes
and Noble charity book fair to help promote literacy in children! March 29th, 2008: Initiation took place this
morning!
Congratulations to the Pi Class!
