Hello Reiri,

I am contacting you to share a job opportunity with you and your group members -- a Global Rotational Program, called TAP, at the investment management firm, the Capital Group Companies. We are looking for high achievers of any major. We value a global perspective and at DISCO's Boston Career Forum, we will be interested in candidates with strong language skills such as Japanese, Mandarin and Cantonese - among many other skills and attributes.

The Associates Program (TAP) is a two-year global rotational program that consists of six four-month assignments in a variety of departments and global locations. As TAP is customized to the individual, a TAP associate's assignments may vary from trading, marketing, sales, human resources, operations, investment research, IT, and business development--to name a few. Being heavily invested in its community, TAP also allows associates a rare opportunity to work with a non-profit organization for four months (at full pay). In TAP, we are looking for future thought leaders and contributors - and we recognize that you may not yet know where you want to focus your career. The goal of TAP is to provide big picture exposure to our company and to help you build relationships across the company - in addition to helping you further define your career path and help you to identify your strengths and areas for development.

Capital Group is one of the most widely respected investment management firms in the world and manages about $750 billion in mutual funds through the American Funds and $350 billion for institutional and high net worth clients. Capital has over 8,000 associates, but often feels like a small company with a culture of collaboration and access to leadership. With 20 offices across the globe, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, London, and Geneva, Capital functions as a globally integrated company. In the industry, we are recognized as a long term investor, and we apply this same philosophy and approach in the attention given to our associates and their development; Capital cares about your career and invests time, people and resources in helping you succeed.

Is TAP a fit for you? We are interested in exceptional individuals who are interested in learning about our industry, who are curious - and who want to make real contributions and travel the globe. Additionally, we are seeking people who value their communities, and enjoy life and the balance between work and outside interests. We are also looking for candidates with outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements.

To learn more, please read through the attached materials. If you are interested in applying for interviews at DISCO's Boston Career Forum, you must submit your cover letter and resume through Capital's website at www.capgroup.com/TAP in the DISCO job posting - by Monday, November 13th (6 pm Pacific time). Please note: we are often able to sponsor working permits.

Additionally, Capital is hosting an informational reception from 5-7pm on November 16th at the Marriott Longwharf Hotel at 296 State Street Boston, MA 02109. Please RSVP to Debra Little at derl@capgroup.com by Monday, November 13th. This venue will give us the opportunity to provide information about Capital and the TAP program as well as get to know you. Feel free to share information with others who are interested.

Sincerely,

Kaitlyn Murphy The Capital Group Companies Recruiter, TAP - Global Rotation Program www.capgroup.com/TAP
