Jummah
Jummah prayers are also held in the Interfaith Center (IFC) in the upper level of the building. On Friday afternoons, simply enter through the main front doors on North Charles Street. During the semester, the khutba begins at 1:15 pm on Friday and prayers usually end by 2:00 pm.
Prayers are not usually held during summers, winter breaks, and various school holidays. Students will be informed in advance if prayers will not be held at Homewood. If this is the case, students may attend prayers at one of the many masjids around Baltimore.
Additionally, Jummah prayers are held every Friday at the Johns Hopkins Medical Campus in the Second Floor Gymnasium of the Meyer Building beginning at 1:30 pm. The Medical School also has a Musallah located in the Outpatient Center. The Medical Campus is across the street from the Johns Hopkins Hospital and can be reached by students on the Homewood campus via the JHMI shuttle.
