Eid Prayer

Eid Mubarak! Historically, JHUMA has observed the beginning of Ramadan and Eid in conjunction with The Islamic Society of Baltimore. No Taraweeh prayers are held the night that Eid is declared.


It is tradition for JHUMA to attend Masjid Al-Rahmah for Eid prayers and to have breakfast at IHOP afterwards. Students usually pray Fajr and depart from the Interfaith Center together on the morning of Eid; school vans and student cars are the means of transportation, and we usually depart early to beat the traffic.


JHUMA also usually puts together a final dinner for the evening or organizes a special Eid outing.
