The good news is that we have funding for I-Con from the SAC. That means that
those who want to go only need to pay for hotel rooms. Yay! The cost will be
around $40; less if more people decide to go.
The bad news:
The class that is now meeting in Gilman 12 will be "running later than they
expected" (they were scheduled to end at 8). They do have very specific needs in
terms of space and working area, and they're a for-credit class so they have
precedence over student groups in terms of scheduling. We have been moved to
Gilman 33. I'm fairly certain all of you are about as irritated by the way HopSFA
has been moved around since the Little Theater was turned into a computer lab as
I am. There is probably nothing we can do this year. However, I have an
appointment to talk to Dean Boswell about the issue for next year. Hopefully we'll
be able to find a more permanent home for next year.
