In short, we are
looking for motivated and enthusiastic students
from diverse backgrounds
to pursue Environmental and Health Geoscience topics.
We welcome applicants
with B.A. or B.S. degrees in any scientific field:
good GPA and GREs
are important, but previous research experience is key.
We recommend that
you make contact with the Professor in charge of a
project that interests
you, prior to making a formal application.
The EHG Program
is a new Interdisciplinary endeavor,
and we envision
extensive collaborations with other Departments
including Biology,
Environmental Engineering and Public Health.
Our goal is to train
Ph.D. scientists with a passion for studying
the interface between
the geological and human environment,
ready to tackle
a new generation of Climate Change and Public Health issues.
