Meet the StressBusters Coordinators

Isha Srivastava
Hi! My name is Isha and I’m a senior. I’m a Cellular and Molecular Biology (fancy for biology) and Psychological & Brain Sciences (just psychology) double major. I’ve been a part of Stressbusters for a year and part of CHEW’s Peer Health Education program, PEEPs, for 2 years. In my free time, I like to read, watch TV (especially Grey’s Anatomy and Prison Break among a billion of my favorite shows), listen to music, hang out with my friends, dance (in my own crazy way), facebook and laugh till my stomach hurts. I take pride in being silly, and giving the best hugs in the world. I love making people smile and happy!!! Like other Hopkins students, I’m stressed throughout my week. Some of my favorite ways to get rid of stress is to facebook, take a walk, go to the gym, write, to draw, listen to music, talk to my parents or friends, organize a “to do” list, scream (if I’m really stressed), bake, walk my dog (at home), play with my brother, or take a short break from whatever may be stressing me.

Garvi Sheth

Hi! My name is Garvi Sheth. I’m a jumior, double majoring in Biology and Writing Seminars. I have been Stressbusting since the first semester of my freshman year, and I have really enjoyed it and learned a great deal. I think Stressbusters is a very worthwhile organization, because stress is the defining element of Hopkins culture, and- well, I guess you can say I’m countercultural.

Besides Stressbusting, over the past year I have been a member of the JHU Tutorial Project, the JHU Lion Dance Troupe, ACLU, and several other clubs and teams. In my free time (hah!), I like to read, write, draw, sketch, caricature, paint, play DDR, Photoshop, discuss philosophy with anyone willing to listen, and come up with excessively geeky plans to take over the world.
