The Student Monitor program at Johns Hopkins University operates to enhance security in the residence halls, and allows students efficient use of hall facilities for recreational and educational purposes.
The program employs a team of students as monitors. There are six monitor positions and five locations where monitors work:
- AMRI Reception Area
- AMRII Social Lounge
- Wolman Terrace
- McCoy Terrace
- Charles Commons #1
- Charles Commons #2
The program is coordinated by the Department of Housing and Dining Services and is managed by the Assistant Director of Housing, Jessica Kupper. The AMRII Housing Assistant, Lisa Dyer, also assists with the administration of the program.
