HSA Employee Recognition Award
Nominations are invited for the Homewood Student Affairs
"Above and Beyond the Call" Employee Recognition Award,
which acknowledges exceptional employee performance.
Nominators and nominees must work in the Homewood Student
Affairs division, and nominees must have completed at least
one year of continuous employment at the time of
nomination. The deadline is July 15.
The first-place winner will receive $500, a desktop
award and certificate of recognition. Up to three honorable
mention winners will also be recognized. For more

East Baltimore Softball Season
Registration is now open for the co-ed Intramural Summer
Softball League that plays Monday or Wednesday evenings at
the Joseph Lee Fields, near the Bayview campus. The league
is open to all students, staff and faculty of the schools
of Medicine and Public Health, the Johns Hopkins Hospital
and the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
Teams must field 10 players per game with a minimum of
three female players on the field at all times. Games begin
the week of June 5 for 10 weeks, followed by a double
elimination tournament. The deadline for registration is
Monday, May 1.
Registration applications are available at the Cooley
Center front desk (in a box) or outside B-190 Meyer. The
team registration fee of $326 covers administration costs,
field reservation and field maintenance.

BFSA Theater Night
Faculty and Staff Association is co-sponsoring the
opening night of the comedy/mystery The Mortgage Burning at
the Arena Playhouse. The opening reception is at 7 p.m.,
and the play begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25.

Parkinson's Disease Workshop for
Designed for patients who have been diagnosed with
Parkinson's Disease for five years or more, this workshop
offers information on motor complications, coping skills,
DBS surgery and available resources.
The next PD201 class is scheduled for Mon., April 24,
at the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center, 601 N. Caroline St.
Cost is $10 per person.
