This computerized kiosk, installed last week at the Mattin Center, is a prototype for a proposed campuswide network that would provide visitors to Homewood with a map, directions to buildings and information on handicapped access, parking and events on campus. The proposed system, part of a larger planned signage system for Homewood, is being developed by the university's Facilities Office in collaboration with wayfinding consultants and a team of computer hardware and software vendors.

Though this is a mockup--without some of the eventually planned features--Facilities is asking students, faculty and staff for their feedback. Try the kiosk out and then send an e-mail message with your comments to Steve Campbell, director of planning and project development, at scampbell@jhu.edu.
