SAIS experts comment on terrorist attacks; audio is online
On Sept. 13, the School of Advanced International Studies held a student/faculty forum to discuss the foreign policy implications of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the United States.
Interim Dean Stephen Szabo hosted the event, which featured faculty members Eliot Cohen, director of the Strategic Studies Program, addressing national security and military implications; Roger Leeds, director of the Center for International Business and Public Policy, on the potential impact on the U.S. and world financial markets; Ruth Wedgwood, director of the International Law and Organization Program, on the legal implications of the terrorist attack; and William Zartman, director of the Conflict Management Program, on the impact on global society and the potential for conflict resolution.

Discussion set on children's reaction to traumatic experiences
In order to help those at Hopkins to better understand children's reactions to traumatic experiences, Linda Lewandowski and other School of Nursing faculty will lead a discussion from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 3, in room 10, lower level of the school. All are welcome.
