The JHU Chapter of Delta Xi Phi has been awarded the "Chapter of the Year" award from the National Executive Board, and the award for Highest Chapter GPA, at the National Convention held in Chicago, Illinois June 20-22.
Furthermore, many sisters from the JHU Chapter have been elected to the Delta Xi Phi National Board for the next term (2008-2010):
1. Our chapter's previous President, Jennifer Petsche, was elected to the National Executive Board as the New Membership Coordinator.
2. Our chapter's founder and former President, Vicki Nelson, has also been elected to the National Executive Board as President.
3. Two other sisters, Whitney Shaffer and Alexandra Nica, have been elected as Eastern Regional Advisers for the sorority.
