Lauren is a junior majoring in International Relations with a concentration on Latin American Languages (Spanish and Portuguese). In addition to being the co-captain of the Ladybirds, she is the Secretary of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., a member of Black Student Union, and a Fitness/Hip Hop Instructor at the Rec Center. She recently won the 2006 Miss Caribbean pageant, representing her West Indian heritage as Ms. St. Kitts. Asked to reveal a little-known fact about her, she replyed with a smile," I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and I am a steak and potatoes girl."
