March 2007 -  Our recent publication in PNAS has received a number of press
                         coverage, including Nature Nanotechnology [link], JAMA (Journal
                        of  American Medical Association, Nanotech News of NCI
                         (National Cancer Institute) [link], as well as over 40 other
                         science/medical magazines and news sites, including the New

July 2006 -     Britni Lonesome won the bronze medal in Chemistry at the
     
              NAACP Scientific Olympics for her work in analysis of the benefits of
                         polymer implants for people with tuberculosis. She'll be joining the Dept
                         of Chemical Engineering at Johns Hopkins in Fall 2006.
                       

May 2003 -     Jung Suh receives a travel grant for her abstract
                     submission to ASGT and presents a talk entitled
                     "INTRACELLULAR TRANSPORT OF GENE CARRIER-
                     CONTAINING VESICLES AS PROBED BY REAL-TIME
                     LIVE-CELL MULTIPLE PARTICLE TRACKING."
                       

March 2003 -  Michelle Dawson is awarded the
                         ISAM 2003 Student Research Award
                         for her poster entitled "NANOPARTICLE TRANSPORT
                         IN CYSTIC FIBROSIS (CF) MUCUS BY MULTIPLE
                         PARTICLE TRACKING (MPT)."

March 2003 -  Michelle Dawson receives a FASEB-MARC travel
                         grant for her abstract submission to the Biophysics Society
                         and gives a poster entitled "DYNAMICS OF GENE CARRIER
                         TRANSPORT IN SYNTHETIC AND CYSTIC FIBROSIS MUCUS
                         AS EXPLORED BY MULTIPLE PARTICLE TRACKING AND
                         RHEOLOGY."
