Remsen Hall. Home to the Posner group and half of the chemistry dept. at Johns Hopkins. Located in scenic northern Baltimore, MD.

Remsen Hall. Named after the chemist who discovered Saccharin and the second president of JHU. His ashes are supposedly interred behind the wall leading up to the second floor.

Inside the building, on the second floor, resides the Posner group.

The long hallway adorned with posters through the center of the lab.

A typical lab bench and hood.

A typical (albeit messy!) lab desk. Each desk has a lockable drawer, shelves, high speed intranet (both via cable or wireless) and plenty of space for keeping up with all the latest journals.

A shared lab space.

Stills with the most commonly used solvents.

The newly renovated computer room with two news PCs and one new Mac along with color and black/white laser printers for lab members to use.

The conference table and dry erase board used for meetings, studying, and general work.

Gas chromatograph.

One of two HPLC systems. This one is hooked up to a new ELS detection system. Both are capable of UV detection as well.

A new Biotage Initiator lab microwave available for all lab members to use.
