The Governor's Summer Internship Program

The Governor's Summer Internship Program (GSIP) was created to introduce college students to the challenges and rewards of working within state government. Over a ten-week period, interns work on substantive projects, develop policy papers, attend site visits and seminars, and are exposed to the world of state politics.

Details for Spring 2007:

All majors are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must be entering their junior or senior year during the Fall 2007 semester, with a GPA of 3.00 or higher.

Interested students are asked to submit:

  • A completed application with essays
  • A resume
  • A transcript
  • Two letters of recommendation
