Alumni Partnerships

You can make a difference in the life of a student! There are many ways for you to get involved with the Career Center and current Hopkins students.

The best way for students to learn about careers is from talking with experienced professionals.

  • Hopkins Alumni Career Profiles
The best way for Hopkins undergraduates to learn about career fields is from alumni in those fields. Complete this brief 15-minute Hopkins Alumni Career Survey designed to gather information about your experiences in your career field. By sharing your experience with students and providing them with specific information on your career field and industry they are better able to connect their interests with specific careers. To view current Hopkins Alumni Profiles click here.

    Questionnaire: Hopkins Alumni Career Profile

If you don't have time to complete the survey, there is a 5-minute Alumni Survey.

  • Career Information Programs and Events
Each semester we offer a number of educational and training workshops to expose and prepare students for various career fields. We are always looking for willing speakers and panelists! Past alumni events have included interviewing workshops, industry panels discussions and "Careers for ____ Majors." To get involved, contact Tracy Carter, Assistant Director, at 410-516-8056 or tracy.carter@jhu.edu.

  • Update your information in inCircle, the online alumni database.

You could mentor students interested in learning more about what you do. The Career Center advises students to use inCircle for a variety of goals: researching careers or specific organizations, asking advice about further education, looking for internships, starting their networking efforts, and more. Make yourself available to student questions by updating your information today at http://alumni.jhu.edu.

N.B. Since many organizations block emails from social networking sites like inCircle, the Career Center encourages you to change your inCircle privacy settings to allow students to view your email address.
